Barre Fire Department initially laid 5” LDH to a hydrant in order to feed Tower 45, but the line was not used. A 3” line was laid from Engine 35 instead. Albion Fire Police immediately closed the area to traffic. The Ladies Auxiliary shuttled refreshments from the station to the scene throughout the incident. Carlton Fire Department and Elba Fire Department (Genesee County) provided one Engine each to fill the Albion Fire Station. Ridgeway and Hulberton Fire Department’s had crews in quarters.
